Eco fashion is not just a trend but a necessity. Wasting resources and polluting the environment cannot be accepted with a clear conscience. While big companies wash their hands with threadbare eco campaigns, it’s the smaller labels who go the extra mile to support local craftsmanship and protect our natural resources.
One such label is CUS, a Catalan brand that presented their collection in the ethical fashion showroom at this summer’s Berlin Fashion Week. Designer Adriana Zalacain produces her collections in Barcelona using organic, recycled and locally sourced fabrics: “Our production is environmentally and socially friendly all around.” So instead of buying cheap, low-quality clothes produced in a sweatshop, why not invest in a long-lasting piece and keep a clear conscience? You can find CUS in the B.huno boutique.
